| sample_remark | The OON Mirintu 1 drillhole is situated in the western part of the southern Thomson Orogen, approximately 110 km WNW of Hungerford in southwestern Queensland. The sample analysed here was collected from depth interval 901.75-902.75 metres and consists of a pale cream-coloured bleached quartzite interbedded with pale green phyllite. This sample was analysed to characterise the detrital zircon signature of sedimentary rocks from this part of the Gumbalara Zone, and for comparison with other (meta)sedimentary rocks of the southern Thomson Orogen. |
