sample_remark Sircombe & McQueen 2000 paraphrased: This sample is from the Kilbrechin Conglomerate Member, West of Bibbenluke, is a dipping conglomeratic unit near the base of the Rosemeath Formation. The base of the sequence is well defined by a pebble-cobble conglomerate, overlain by coarse grit and sandstone with less prominent, red and drab-coloured shale and siltstone units. The sequence here is at least 250m thick.
