| sample_remark | Foden et al. (2020): A sample of the Lalkaldarno Porphyry was also taken from the Mount Stavely Volcanic Complex. This is a shallowly intrusive dacite porphyry and is apparently the youngest unit in the Mount Stavely volcanic stratigraphy (Bowman et al., 2019). It yielded a LA-ICPMS U-Pb zircon age of 504.7 +/- 2 Ma, which is very consistent with recent SHRIMP data (Lewis et al., 2016). |
