| sample_remark | The sample from GCD004 at 80m is of quartz vein and host rock material containing pyrite. Pyrite is disseminated throughout the host rock adjacent to the veins. The host rock displayed sericite alteration around the veins. The veins are barren of carbonate minerals and arsenopyrite. Trace chalcopyrite is present, but gold is mostly absent. The sample also has disseminated pyrite throughout the host as well as vein pyrite, however, both varieties are relatively euhedral. |
