sample_remark Leucocratic pink granite. St Marys, Bicheno, Coles Bay and Avoca Areas. McDougall & Leggo (1965) paraphrased: ""A coarse, even-grained granite composed of K-feldspar, quartz, plagioclase and sporadic biotite and muscovite. K-feldspar forms large crystals which are strongly kaolinized. It encloses micrographic quartz and contains irregular areas of unaltered twinned plagioclase (albite) in apparent optical continuity. Quartz shows slight undulose extinction. Biotite is partly chloritized.""
