Grades with depth to a consolidated light to medium light grey, very fine to fine clear quartz grains, dominantly fine, subrounded to rounded, moderately to well sorted, trace to slightly argillaceous, in part slightly calcareous, trace to slightly glauconitic, trace mica and pyrite, friable to moderately hard, poor to fair porosity.; Sandstone is in part calcareous and grades to a sandy limestone. |
