Adams et al (1985 AJES) paraphrased"...samples for Rb-Sr analysis were collected from a 6 km length of the body between Whisky Creek and McKenna Creek. The samples are petrologically fairly uniform and lack deformation structures. Most are plagioclase-phyric, and the mineral assemblage is plagioclase + K-feldspar + quartz ± biotite ± hornblende ± muscovite + opaques. More mafic variants have chlorite and epidote after hornblende, and all samples have chlorite + muscovite + fine opaques after biotite. Plagioclase is altered to albite, and carbonate is present in most samples." |
