The body is aligned parallel to the meridional grain of the batholith, where it separates the large, dominantly S-type granitic intrusives to the west from the younger I-type granitic rocks to the east.The sample was collected from a small cluster of ~1 m high tors from the central-eastern part of the body. It is a medium, even-grained dark grey rock, with blocky plagioclase laths set in poikilitic orthoclase, reddish brown biotite plates, and ragged hornblende prisms (to 5 mm), some of which are partially replaced by small biotite aggregates.\"",
