At this location, the unit is predominantly pebble conglomerate and pebbly sandstone, but it also contains interbeds of sandstone. Sample HB17ND402 is an immature, coarse- to medium-grained, gritty quartz sandstone. Cross beds are common, and bed thickness varies from 10 cm to massive. It is underlain by massive-bedded sandstone of the Areyonga Formation, and overlain by thinly bedded to flaggy, fine-grained micaceous sandstone interpreted to belong to the Winnall Group.",
